This place sells a USB adapter for about $21. It's the "PSX Smart Joypad 2." I have't tried it, and now you know as much as I do. But a lot of people have asked me where to get something like this... now you know! National Console Support American console shop, sells games, mods, etc. One of the best. SideKick 2000 This place sells nice-looking control enclosures with various button layouts. They are made just for do-it-yourself joystick projects like the one I detail here! They also have assembly instructions. Do check them out. Unfortunately for us here in the States, they are in Australia. The Chip Zone I just dealt with ChipZone for mod chips -- nice product, good price. I'd use them again. They sell one 7-wire chip style that can be used in all Playstations. Good installation instructions are provided online. Their customer service is great, too; I got a dud chip from them and had a replacement in a couple of days with no hassle. Ultimate Video Game Accessories Another console site with some cool gadgets. Notable products: Modified Dreamcast consoles, a Playstation MP3 player and the "Dreamstation" adapter that allows you to use PSX controllers on the Dreamcast.
