So we are having a company meeting today, but it's a big company and I am in a satellite office. Therefore, the meeting has to be broadcast to us. This required a satellite truck to show up the mornign of the event. (If only there was some sort of global computer network that could be used for sharing a video stream in real time!)
Now, when you hear 'satellite truck' you might think of something big and shiny. Well, the reality was shockingly different. The men and equipment responsible for intercepting a data stream from outer freaking space looked more like gardeners than anything else, and I assure you their labors relied on the extreme application of duct tape. Did I wake up in a William Gibson novel?
