The goal of this project was to remove the litter box from the ferrets' living area. This will keep the bedding cleaner, make it easier to clean the litter box, and help control odor.
Note that the litter box in the plastic tub is secured with a bolt so the critters can't move it around.
In response to the viewer's question: Yes, they use it! I have one who is stubborn and often goes on the newspaper ouside the box, but the main living area stays clean. I am very pleased.
