The texture was lifted from the Two Towers special edition DVD booklet. There was lots of cloning, copying, pasting and tweaking to hide the deficiencies of the source material.
The framing element came from the same booklet, but it needed to be reshaped to fit the card proportions. A simple shadow layer effect was used to give the frame sort of a "burned in" look as seen in the source material.
The original booklet has a lot more red in it. I went for more brown tones here instead so it wouldn't be garish when placed on the apron. |
